Job Description:Hoopr is seeking a passionate music business professional to join our dynamic team. This role offersa unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of music licensing and music programming.
As aMusic Executive, you will be at the heart of our content operations, listening to music and tagging itwith relevant keywords, identifying BPM, key, and more. You'll assist the team in shaping acomprehensive music programming strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to and analyze music tracks to carefully tag them with accurate keywords, moods, genres,BPM, key, and other relevant attributes.
- Monitor the search results on a daily basis the search queries/upcoming events etc.
- Curate playlists based on genres/use-cases to make the songs more discoverable.
- Assist the in-house content team in developing and executing music programming plans based onuser needs and content availability.
- Stay updated on trends in music and content consumption to help shape future programmingstrategies.
Requirements:
- A deep passion for music across various genres.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in the same or relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to categorize music based on mood, genre, tempo, and key.
- Ability to work closely with multiple POCs and communicate effectively.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks at hand based on requirement.
- Willingness to learn and contribute creatively to content programming.
Nice To Have:
- Graduation from a music school or formal music education.
This is a full-time, work-from-office role based in Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai.
