Job Purpose:

The Shipping Executive will be responsible for handling the end-to-end shipping operations for finished beverages and raw materials, ensuring timely dispatch, documentation, compliance with statutory regulations, and smooth coordination with transporters, warehouses, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor dispatches of finished goods (domestic & export).

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to distributors, retailers, and export destinations.

  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and sales teams for dispatch planning.

  • Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoice, packing list, delivery challan, e-way bills, export documentation, etc.).

  • Ensure compliance with excise, GST, customs, and other statutory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate shipping records for audit and regulatory purposes.

  • Vendor & Transporter Management

  • Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents), and courier services for smooth movement of goods.

  • Negotiate freight rates and monitor transporter performance.

  • Ensure proper vehicle allocation and route planning.

  • Inventory & Warehouse Support

  • Coordinate with warehouse team for order picking, loading, and unloading.

  • Monitor stock movements and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed.

  • Track material in transit and provide status updates to stakeholders.

  • Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain MIS reports on shipping costs, transit time, and delivery performance.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and shipping.
  • Highlight delays, damages, or discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
