Job Title: Compliance Officer - Fund Administration

Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar

Experience: 4-7 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Officer to oversee and manage regulatory compliance for our fund administration operations at GIFT City. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), SEBI and IFSCA regulations, and fund compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure end-to-end compliance with IFSCA, SEBI, and FEMA regulations applicable to fund operations in GIFT City.
  • Monitor and implement internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance with fund governance, reporting, and regulatory obligations.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities for timely filings (TCR, QCR, ODI, CKYC/KRA, etc.) and handle inspections/audits.
  • Review and vet legal agreements, offer documents, PPMs, investment committee notes, and fund-related documentation.
  • Ensure timely disclosures, reporting, and investor communications in coordination with fund administration teams.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners including fund accountants, custodians, and RTAs to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Assist with compliance-related projects, risk assessments, and policy reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in compliance, preferably with a fund administrator or asset manager.
  • Strong understanding of GIFT IFSC regulations, SEBI AIF guidelines, and other applicable frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
