About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Associate - Outbound Sales to support a leading sneaker and streetwear resale marketplace in scaling its outbound sales and customer acquisition efforts.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, sneaker culture, and relationship building. The focus is on converting high-intent customers, engaging collectors and resellers, and driving revenue across drops, rare pairs, and premium inventory. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy outbound conversations, understand hype driven products, and thrive in fast-paced consumer marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities


• Outbound Sales and Lead Generation


• Reach out to potential buyers, sellers, resellers, and business leads through calls and digital channels.


• Pitch products, marketplace value, and resale offerings with confidence and clarity.


• Identify customer intent, qualify leads, and convert them into active buyers or sellers.


• Adapt sales conversations based on customer knowledge, interest, and market trends.


• Sales and Revenue Growth


• Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets tied to marketplace transactions.


• Drive conversions for sneaker drops, limited releases, rare pairs, and luxury resale inventory.


• Upsell premium services, faster fulfilment options, and high-value products.


• Support bulk deals, repeat buyers, and high-frequency customers.


• Customer and Relationship Management


• Build strong rapport with sneaker collectors, enthusiasts, and repeat customers.


• Maintain a premium, trust-driven customer experience.


• Track follow-ups, callbacks, and lead progress using CRM tools.


• Collaborate with operations and marketplace teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.


• Data and Market Insights


• Maintain accurate call logs, lead statuses, and daily performance data.


• Share insights on customer demand, pricing sensitivity, and market trends to improve strategy.

What You Bring


• Zero to two years of experience in outbound sales, telesales, or business development.


• Strong communication skills with a confident and persuasive phone presence.


• Target-driven mindset with comfort handling objections and negotiations.


• Ability to understand fast-moving inventory and price-driven conversations.


• Basic familiarity with CRM tools, with training support provided.


• Strong interest in sneakers, streetwear, and hype culture.


• Being a sneakerhead with knowledge of the luxury resale market, limited editions, and secondary pricing is a major advantage.
