Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and technically sound Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the process industry, a good understanding of its equipment, and an interest in industrial data analytics solutions. You will be trained on Seeq software | Advanced Analytics, ML & AI for Time Series DataSeeq Corporation develops software and services that accelerate industrial process analytics on industrial process ), a leading solution for advanced analytics in the process industry.

Job Title: Technical Sales EngineerLocation: Mumbai / Remote

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in software sales

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Conduct product presentations and software demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and work closely with the technical team to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in engineering or industrial software.

  • knowledge of process industries such as:

  • Oil & Gas

  • Chemicals
  • Petrochemicals
  • Cement
  • Power & Utilities

  • Manufacturing

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to generate leads, pitch products, and close sales.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with industrial equipment and process systems.
  • Knowledge of data analytics or software solutions.
