Domestic MICE Operations Executive

We are part of the ASX-listed Flight Centre Travel Group, known for its innovative travel tech, proprietary platforms, and deep industry expertise – especially in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) through FCM Meetings & Events.

We are seeking a high-performing and driven MICE Sales professional to join our team in Chennai, at the Senior Executive to Assistant Manager level. This role will focus on acquiring and managing large-scale MICE business with an annual sales target of ₹8–10 Crores.

You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and converting leads into successful MICE events, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.

• Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth
  Identify, approach, and close new MICE clients to meet annual revenue targets of ₹8–10 Cr.

• Relationship Management
  Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients and event partners.

• Sales Strategy & Execution
  Plan and execute sales strategies tailored to regional opportunities and client needs.

• Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
  Develop a healthy pipeline of leads, follow up consistently, and ensure high conversion rates.

• Proposal Development
  Prepare winning proposals and pitch presentations for events, conferences, and corporate off-sites.

• Collaboration
  Work closely with internal departments (operations, contracting, finance) to ensure flawless event execution.

• Market Awareness
  Stay informed of MICE market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

• Experience: 5–8 years in MICE or B2B travel sales, preferably with exposure to high-revenue corporate clients.

• Sales Track Record: Proven ability to meet/exceed annual revenue targets of ₹8 Cr+.

• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of MICE sales, corporate event planning, and travel logistics.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Presentation Skills: Ability to present proposals and close deals with senior-level decision-makers.

• Tools: Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools; knowledge of event tech tools is a plus.
