Senior Product Engineer (Developer)

Role Purpose

The Senior Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and support of the Banking System. This position requires hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, and web technologies, with strong analytical and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform web and J2EE software development for banking applications.
  • Analyze system changes, assess impact, and maintain coding best practices.
  • Design and implement program enhancements with detailed technical documentation.
  • Prepare test scenarios and perform unit/system testing.
  • Conduct code reviews for each release to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Ensure test accuracy and smooth implementation in production.
  • Maintain documentation, standards, and development processes in line with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Contribute to all components across the full technology stack.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of system software development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, Servlets, J2EE, EJB, Spring MVC, Web Services.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular, React, Bootstrap, HTML5.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and SDLC.
  • Strong experience in database design, normalization, and SQL.
  • Ability to lead small technical teams and coordinate development activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in the banking domain or financial systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of JBOSS, IBM WebSphere MQ, JSON, XML, MSSQL, Workflow Engine, RHPAM, Jasper Report.
  • Exposure to multinational environments and multi-country systems.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Experience in full-stack development is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹150, ₹200,000.00 per month
