About Us

EmoteCare is building a next-generation mental health platform designed to make therapy more accessible, personalised, and human. As we scale, we're looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will take complete ownership of quality — across web, mobile, integrations, and releases.

Role Overview

As our Senior QA Engineer, you'll define and drive our end-to-end QA strategy. You will work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure every release is stable, secure, and delightful to use. You'll help us build QA culture from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy for web and mobile applications (React, , React Native, , AWS).
  • Create and execute manual and automated test suites for regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Detox, and Postman.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS).
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to validate requirements and edge cases.
  • Perform exploratory testing, especially for chat and therapy session flows.
  • Own defect triage, test documentation, and release sign-off processes.
  • Mentor junior QA staff or external contractors to scale coverage effectively.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands-on QA experience across manual and automation testing.
  • Strong experience testing web apps and mobile apps (React Native or Flutter).
  • Proficiency with Cypress, Playwright, Postman, Appium, BrowserStack, or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of API and backend testing (REST, GraphQL, SQL).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and collaboration tools (Jira, Slack, Figma, Notion).
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
