Job Title: Senior Mobile Engineer

Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications, ensuring they are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with our business goals. This position is vital to our organization's success, as it directly impacts our ability to deliver high-quality mobile solutions that meet and exceed our users' expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure the quality of the code and the product through comprehensive testing and code reviews.
  • Manage the mobile development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance, following best practices in SDLC and Scrum methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Utilize JIRA for project management and tracking, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Implement design patterns and user experience principles to create intuitive and engaging mobile applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our mobile applications are cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on React Native.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to pass a React and React Native technical assessment.
  • Strong understanding of Git for version control and deploying code.
  • Experience with quality assurance processes and tools, including JIRA.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration and implementation.
  • Strong grasp of design patterns and user experience best practices.
