Job Title: Lead Mobile Engineer

Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mobile Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications that enhance user experience and meet our organizational goals. As a Lead Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our mobile solutions, ensuring timely delivery, and leading a team of talented engineers. Your expertise in React Native and leadership skills will be instrumental in achieving our mission of delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Oversee the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA, to define and implement new features.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Manage and optimize the use of Git for version control and collaborate on code deployment strategies.
  • Utilize JIRA for tracking project progress and issue resolution, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners, providing updates and gathering feedback.
  • Implement and advocate for Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mobile technologies to continuously improve our applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on React Native.
  • Proven track record of delivering mobile applications on time and within scope.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to pass a technical test in React and React Native.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Proficient in React and React Native for mobile application development.
  • Strong understanding of Git for version control and code management.
  • Experience with JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration and understanding design patterns.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and user experience principles.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
