About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in mobile application testing. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Appium and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

As a senior member of the QA team, you will guide best practices, mentor junior testers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation testing frameworks for Android and iOS mobile applications.
  • Create, execute, and manage automation test scripts using Appium and related tools.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to review requirements and define test strategies.
  • Conduct functional, regression, smoke, performance, and compatibility testing for mobile apps.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Review, optimize, and improve the overall QA process and automation coverage.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases and maintain well-structured documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–7 years of professional experience in QA Automation, with a strong focus on mobile app testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Appium (mandatory).
  • Expertise with tools such as UI Automator, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar technologies.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience building automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, BDD, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of STLC, mobile testing practices, and device-specific behaviors.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80, ₹1,500,000.00 per month
