Urgent Opening for the position of Data Analyst for North Goa.

Job Description:

We are hiring an Associate/Senior Associate candidate proficient in SQL and Python to join our dynamic team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to drive actionable insights and informed business decisions. Your primary focus will be on transforming complex data into understandable and accessible information that supports various departments across the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and optimize SQL / Presto queries to retrieve and manipulate data from relational databases and data lakes.
  • Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets using Python and other analytical tools.
  • Identify relevant data sources and datasets, and procure, clean, and transform data effectively.
  • Work with multiple data sources to build metrics, alerts, and backend datasets for analytics and reporting.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, benchmarks, and correlations.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports to visualize insights for stakeholders using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight, etc.).
  • Analyze and interpret data to improve business efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide real-time monitoring of supply chain operations and send alert to respective team, including tracking shipments, inventory, and escalation
  • Support process improvement initiatives, continuously evaluating and optimizing supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for data analytics solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong emphasis on SQL and Python.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Hands-on experience with Python libraries for data manipulation (e.g., Pandas).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI,Quicksight) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data processing and analytics
