A Talent Acquisition (TA) Intern supports the recruiting team by assisting with the full hiring process, including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate databases, and supporting employer branding initiatives. Interns also provide administrative support, assist with onboarding, track recruitment metrics, and contribute to special projects to help the organization find and hire top talent. Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Screening:Post job openings on various platforms and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Interview Coordination:Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Candidate Management:Maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure excellent candidate experience.
  • Administrative Support:Provide administrative assistance to the TA team, including data entry, document organization, and answering calls.
  • Employer Branding:Support employer branding initiatives and participate in recruitment events like career fairs.
  • Reporting & Metrics:Assist in preparing recruitment reports and tracking key metrics for the TA team.
  • Onboarding:Support the onboarding process for new hires, which may include orientation sessions.
  • Special Projects:Contribute to and participate in special projects and initiatives within the TA department.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills:Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are crucial for managing multiple tasks and large amounts of data.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with recruitment software and ATS are often required.
  • Proactive Attitude:A genuine curiosity for people and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving are highly valued by employers.
  • Education:Often preferred that candidates are currently enrolled in a human resources or related degree program.
