CUSTOMER ACCOUNT MANAGER

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Maintain contact and coordinate with customers for RFQs, price lists, orders, and order updates.
  • Maintain contact and coordinate with customers throughout the end-to-end process like payments (advance and final), shipments (readiness, backorders, invoices)
  • Coordinate with customers for end-to-end claim handling and resolution.
  • RFQ/ Price list Creation - To create RFQs and price lists within 4 hours of receiving a customer request.
  • Generating customer quotes, creating proforma invoices, confirmed order analysis, and adding PI line items to the ERP system and managing modifications to PI line items.
  • To provide specific ETA updates to customers as and when requested
  • To update the ERP system with supersession, MOQ, and price changes as soon as we receive updates from suppliers or the order team
  • Perform order planner reconciliation based on updates from the order team
  • Email the finance team regarding cancellation updates to ensure SOA reconciliation
  • To coordinate with the team on order placement and readiness updates
  • To generate customer readiness (Shipping) reports and back-order reports (monthly and as per specific requirements)
  • To coordinate with the logistics team, invoices that can be sent to customers for payment based on the target date, also change the unpaid status in ERP as soon as an invoice has been sent to customers.
  • Handle initial customer claim creation based on discrepancies reported against corresponding invoices; verify the accuracy of documents received from the team before sending them to the customer.
  • To check documents received from the team to ensure data accuracy before sending them to customers.
