Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Growth

·       Drive revenue growth in Standalone Modern Trade (SMT) outlets like Grace Supermarket, Ratnadeep, MK Retail, Fresh2Day, Modern Bazaar, etc.

·       Manage MT distributor network including appointment, ROI planning, performance reviews, and seamless execution.

·       Achieve secondary sales targets with efficient stock replenishment and minimal returns.

Execution & Visibility

·       Deliver flawless execution of promotions, in-store activations, new launches, and display initiatives.

·       Ensure planogram adherence, FIFO-based rotation, and freshness of stocks through merchandising partners.

Distributor Operations

·       Build and track Distributor ROI, ensuring profitability and sustained growth.

·       Drive efficiency in order-to-cash cycle, claims, and schemes with DMS and sales tools.

·       Guide distributors on cost control, visibility execution, and resource optimization.

Relationship Management

·       Build strong connects with category buyers, store managers, and sales staff to maximize shelf space and visibility.

·       Handle local negotiations for secondary displays, activations, and sampling drives.

Sales Planning & Reporting

·       Track daily/weekly sales performance, stock movement, and claims using DMS and Excel dashboards.

·       Provide insights and corrective action plans at store and beat level.

Expansion & Range Building

·       Identify and onboard new high-potential SMT outlets.

·       Expand SKU penetration and drive range-selling through targeted pushes and tactical schemes.

Market Intelligence

·       Track competition on pricing, promotions, visibility, and consumer response; feed insights into sales strategy.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

·       Graduate / MBA preferred

· –3 years in FMCG / Modern Trade; prior SMT experience a strong plus

·       Proven experience in MT distributor management and DMS usage

Skills & Competencies

·       Fluency in local language + Hindi/Tamil & English

·       Strong relationship building and negotiation skills

·       Proficiency in Excel, DMS, and sales analytics

·       Self-driven, entrepreneurial, with strong execution focus

·       Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%)
