Job Title: Key Account Executive OEM Sales (Wood Adhesive Segment)
Location: Ahmedabad , Mumbai , Pune , Hyderabad
Department: Sales & Marketing
Job Purpose:
To drive OEM (Joinery / Furniture / Modular Kitchen / Panel Board) sales for Astral Adhesives, manage key accounts, and achieve growth targets in the wood adhesive segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, acquire, and manage OEM clients in furniture, joinery, and modular wood industry.
Develop and maintain strong business relations with carpenters, contractors, architects, and purchase teams of OEMs.
Drive sales of Astral wood adhesive products ( wood glues / joinery adhesives).
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & collection targets.
Conduct product trials, demos, and technical presentations for OEM clients.
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and new product launches in the adhesive market.
Coordinate with technical, supply chain, and marketing teams for customer requirements.
Maintain proper documentation: sales reports, pipeline tracking, account-wise sales.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of wood adhesive / construction chemical industry.
Experience in OEM / institutional sales (furniture, joinery, interior segment).
Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to handle channel partners & direct OEM clients.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, with problem-solving approach.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / MBA preferred.
2–5 years of sales experience in wood adhesive / plywood / laminates / modular furniture industry.
Prior experience in OEM account handling will be an added advantage
