Role- IT Head

Responsibilities-

• Manage overall solution & service delivery of projects, enhancement and break/fix demand for application portfolio
• Drive standardization & automation across business processes leveraging standard/corporate solutions. Actively engage with business in defining optimal solutions to support and improve business processes. Should be able to take calculated risks and challenge current delivery practices/applications.
• Manage solution Implementations, rollouts and delivery for internal businesses & functions.
• Responsible for integrated incident, change and problem management. Ensure systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed for application support.
• Lead/collaborate with external vendors for projects execution & application support
• Manage, lead and mentor team members. Set measurable goals and deadlines for team members
• Manage budget, cost and productivity for the applications portfolio.
• Handle changing priorities and provide decisive leadership in complex situations.
• Implement industry best practices for solution as well as service delivery.
• Drive software license optimization initiatives
• Accountable to plan, track & analyze budget spends during the respective budget cycles. Track annual spends, by working closely with key IT Function heads, Finance & Engineering leaders in preparing annual budgets. Develop matrices to track, monitor and achieve optimum IT Capex and Opex utilization.
• Accountable to drive effective vendor management and fulfillment of Product/Service Requests. Track Business Cases, Capex and LOI requests and bring the same to logical closure in time through effective collaboration with the Commercial & Finance team. Responsible for judicious creation of purchase requests (both Capex & Opex) for IT
• Hold regular governance meetings with SCM team and outsourcing partners to review vendor issue status and take corrective/improvement actions.
• Will be responsible for all key aspects for datacenter service delivery ie, reliability, availability, scalability, security, quality, service levels and support
• Will be responsible for managing the IT operations team, governance and validation of all operational KPI

Required Skills/Qualifications-

• 14+ years of experience in applications including experience in deploying large enterprise applications.
• Proven experience of successfully delivering projects on-time, within budget, and in scope.
• Experience of setting up support teams, processes & tools
• Strong Industry and Functional expertise with configuration and design experience
• Has good experience of business engagement and senior Stakeholder management.
• Should be able to organize teams and resolve critical situations or complex requirements.
• Familiar with tools and technology necessary to manage application projects & support (Ticketing tool, monitoring tools, Demand/Capacity management tools, Monitoring tools and automation, Project tracking etc.)
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment
• Should be able to influence decision-making and drive project delivery.
