Where we WorkUdemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the Mumbai office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

- Cross-functional Collaboration - You work effectively across different departments and teams to achieve shared objectives and drive organizational success. You can navigate complex internal stakeholder relationships while keeping partnership goals on track.
As a Senior Strategic Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing our channel strategy for the India market. This role is perfect for a seasoned partnership professional who thrives on building strategic relationships that drive meaningful business impact. You'll work at the intersection of sales, strategy, and relationship management to expand Udemy's presence through carefully curated partnerships.
You'll be joining a dynamic team focused on scaling our enterprise learning solutions through strategic channel partnerships. This role offers the opportunity to shape our partnership strategy in one of our most important growth markets while working with top-tier partners and internal stakeholders across the globe.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive channel strategy for the India market in collaboration with regional peers and Global GTM Partnership Leaders
- Identify, recruit, and onboard Tier 1 indirect channel partners including distribution partnerships and reseller relationships that align with our ideal partner profile
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic partners while serving as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related activities
- Create formal business plans with top partner prospects, secure necessary approvals, and guide partnerships through to signature and beyond
- Collaborate closely with India sales leaders to prioritize opportunities and ensure alignment between sales and partnership objectives
- Enable successful partner launches and define growth strategies that drive measurable revenue impact
- Set clear revenue goals with partners, manage reseller pipelines, and support full-cycle deal processes including deal registration
- Conduct quarterly strategic reviews with senior sales leadership to assess partnership performance and business impact
- Travel as needed to meet with partners and engage in hands-on relationship building activities
We're excited about you because you have:
- 7+ years of experience in sales and SaaS channel partner management with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals
- Demonstrated success in recruiting and managing resellers, particularly in the SaaS industry with preference for EdTech experience
- Strong familiarity with the Indian and APAC markets including cultural understanding and business practices
- Advanced negotiation skills with experience managing complex partnership agreements and revenue-sharing models
- Excellent communication abilities at the executive level with experience presenting to C-suite stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing and reporting on partnership pipelines and revenue impact
- Experience working in global organizations with cross-functional collaboration across multiple time zones
- High achievement orientation with a proactive, can-do attitude and alignment with our mission to improve lives through learning
