Job Description:

Param is seeking a proactive and people-driven Membership and Volunteer Coordinator to join our Membership team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our growing network of members and volunteers, ensuring seamless onboarding, meaningful engagement, and smooth backend operations. You will play a vital role in aligning internal program needs with external participation, organizing events and benefits, maintaining databases, and fostering a vibrant community that reflects Param's values and mission. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, communication, and creating systems that support people and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer Coordination

  1. Recruit, onboard, and assign volunteers based on internal team needs, ensuring timely orientation and role clarity for each program or event.

  2. Track volunteer engagement and manage backend processes such as attendance, feedback, database updates, and issuance of certificates or appreciation materials.

Membership Coordination

  1. Manage the onboarding and database of members across all categories (students,

individuals, institutions, corporates), ensuring updated records and regular communication.

  1. Coordinate backend operations related to membership benefits, renewals, event access, and experience tracking.

  2. Liaise with internal teams (operations, outreach, program leads) to align member touchpoints with program timelines and delivery.

  3. Support the planning and execution of workshops, field trips, and other member-exclusive experiences by managing logistics and registrations.

  4. Collect feedback and generate engagement reports to continuously improve the membership experience and support retention strategies.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

● Experience: 0–2 years in coordination, administration, community engagement, or related roles. Freshers with relevant internships or volunteering experience are encouraged to apply.

● Education: Bachelor's degree in any related field.

● Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills in English and Kannada proficiency are a plus.

● Digital Tools: Comfortable using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms), MS Excel; familiarity with basic CRM tools (e.g., Airtable, Notion, Zoho) is an added advantage.

● Organization & Coordination: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

● Sector Experience (Preferred): Prior exposure to the NGO sector, membership-based programs, or volunteer management is a strong advantage.
