Job Summary:

We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic Compliance Officer (Fresher) who possesses a basic understanding of the stock market and regulatory compliance processes. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas such as VLOOKUP, LENGTH, etc.).

The role involves ensuring that all activities and processes comply with SEBI and Exchange guidelines, supporting inspections, handling compliance reporting, and maintaining accurate internal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal screening and due diligence of clients as per compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit weekly Authorized Person reports to the respective exchanges.
  • Monitor compliance with SEBI and Exchange circulars, ensuring timely implementation and understanding of regulatory updates.
  • Assist in responding to inspection-related queries and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure all regulatory and internal compliance deadlines are met accurately and on time.
  • Maintain records, reports, and correspondence related to compliance and audits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and exchanges for compliance-related matters.
  • Support in the preparation of periodic compliance reports and statements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: CS / MBA (Finance) / M.Com (Commerce) Freshers can apply.
  • Basic understanding of stock market operations, SEBI, and exchange functions.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel – including formulas like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, LENGTH, IF, etc.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the compliance function of a financial services organization.
