The Admission Counsellor at JKG International School, Vijay Nagar plays a crucial role in welcoming prospective students and their families to the school community. The role ensures a smooth, transparent, and efficient admission experience by offering guidance, accurate information, and professional support throughout the enrollment process. Key ResponsibilitiesAdmission Guidance & Support

  • Counsel parents and students about school programs, facilities, and the admission procedure.
  • Conduct campus tours, parent interactions, and student assessments as required.
  • Provide clear communication regarding curriculum, fee structures, transport, and school policies.

Application & Documentation Management

  • Process admission applications, verify documents, and maintain accurate records in the school's system.
  • Coordinate assessment tests, interviews, and final admission formalities.
  • Ensure adherence to school and regulatory compliance for the admission process.

Parent Communication & Relationship Building

  • Respond promptly to inquiries received via phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online channels.
  • Follow up with prospective parents to ensure timely completion of admission stages.
  • Maintain respectful, courteous, and supportive interactions reflecting school values.

Administrative & Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Liaise with academic, finance, and administrative departments to ensure smooth student onboarding.
  • Prepare and submit admission reports, conversion data, and monthly updates to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of student and family information.

Outreach & Brand Promotion

  • Represent the school in education fairs, promotional events, and outreach activities.
  • Support the development of admission marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.
  • Contribute to enhancing the school brand through positive parent engagement and communication.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with experience in education counseling.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in school admissions, counseling, or customer service.
  • Fresher can also apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a child- and parent-centric approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with school ERP systems (preferred).
  • Organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Professional demeanor with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
