**Job Description: TGT Science Teacher**

**Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Science**

**Location: JKG International School, Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad**

**Department: Academic**

**Reporting To: Academic Coordinator/Principal**

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Subject Expertise**:
Teach Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to students of middle and secondary grades as per the curriculum.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet the learning needs of students.

**Curriculum Delivery**:
Develop and implement lesson plans in alignment with CBSE or relevant board guidelines.

Incorporate innovative teaching methods, experiments, and digital tools to enhance conceptual understanding.

**Student Development**:
Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects.

Identify and address individual learning gaps through remedial measures.

**Classroom Management**:
Maintain a disciplined, safe, and conducive learning environment.

Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and curiosity among students.

**Co-Curricular Contributions**:
Participate in organizing science fairs, exhibitions, or competitions to promote interest in Science.

Guide students in Science-related projects and Olympiads.

**Communication & Reporting**:
Regularly communicate with parents regarding students’ progress and challenges.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and performance.

**Professional Development**:
Attend training programs, workshops, and seminars to stay updated with teaching methodologies.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and innovative ideas.

**Skills and Qualifications**

**Educational Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification (mandatory).

**Experience**:
2-5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school is preferred.

Skills Required:
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Effective classroom management and teaching strategies.

Ability to use technology (smart boards, educational software) effectively.

Desirable Traits:
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Patience, adaptability, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Commitment to fostering a love for Science in students.

Work Conditions

Work Hours: As per school timings (including occasional meetings and events).

Location: On-campus presence required.

Pay: ₹10,283.20 - ₹34,636.10 per month
