**Job Description: TGT Mathematics Teacher (Grade VI-VIII)**

**Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Mathematics**
**Grade Level: VI to VIII**
**Location: JKG International School, Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Curriculum Delivery**
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and concept-focused Mathematics lessons as per CBSE guidelines and the school curriculum.
Use innovative teaching methodologies, digital tools, and hands-on activities to simplify mathematical concepts.
Encourage analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills among students.

**Assessment & Evaluation**
Design and administer formative and summative assessments, projects, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
Provide constructive feedback and implement strategies for improvement in weak areas.

**Classroom Management**
Create a supportive and disciplined learning environment that promotes curiosity and independent thinking.
Address individual student needs and provide differentiated instruction where necessary.

**Professional Development**
Stay updated on changes in the CBSE syllabus and developments in the field of mathematics education.

**Parent & Student Engagement**
Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s performance and progress.
Act as a mentor to students, motivating them to overcome challenges in learning mathematics.

**Extracurricular Activities**
Organize and guide students in mathematical competitions, quizzes, and activities such as Math Olympiads and problem-solving sessions.
Contribute to school events that involve mathematics, like exhibitions or STEM initiatives.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**

Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field (with specialization in Mathematics).
B.Ed. in Mathematics or equivalent.
CTET qualified as per CBSE guidelines.

**Experience**
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a TGT Mathematics teacher.
Freshers with an excellent academic record and passion for teaching may also apply.

**Skill Set**
Proficiency in explaining mathematical concepts with clarity and precision.
Strong classroom management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to integrate technology and interactive tools in the teaching process.
