The role involves engaging with communities, influencers, and media to enhance brand visibility and drive meaningful connections. You will be responsible for executing community initiatives, managing partnerships, and supporting event participation.

Responsibilities

  • Community Discovery, Outreach & Nurturing
  • Map and prioritize online and offline communities where our ICP hangs out (founders, CXOs, operators, product and growth leaders, AI enthusiasts).
  • Join, represent, and actively participate in relevant communities (Slack, Discord, LinkedIn groups, Reddit, Product Hunt, Indie Hackers, etc.).
  • Plan and execute community-focused initiatives: AMAs, office hours, educational posts, mini-events, and collaboration threads.
  • Maintain a simple community CRM/list, tracking communities, key contacts, conversations, and outcomes.
  • Influencer, Creator & Media Partnerships
  • Identify and reach out to creators and media including influencers and experts on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram.
  • Identify and reach out to podcasters and webinar hosts in SaaS, AI, productivity, and startup ecosystems.
  • Identify and reach out to bloggers, newsletter writers, journalists, and niche media platforms.
  • Pitch collaborations, guest appearances, reviews, product deep dives, co-created content, and sponsored integrations where relevant.
  • Negotiate and coordinate deliverables, timelines, and expectations, ensuring brand alignment and clear value on both sides.
  • Track performance of each collaboration (reach, engagement, signups, leads, mentions) and refine your outreach playbook over time.
  • Events, Expos & Ecosystem Presence
  • Continuously research events, expos, conferences, meetups, demo days, and industry gatherings relevant to AI, SaaS, productivity, startups, and leadership.
  • Evaluate opportunities (attend vs. sponsor vs. speak vs. exhibit) based on audience fit, cost, and expected impact.
  • Own end-to-end coordination for participation including applications, speaking proposals, and sponsorship negotiations.
  • Coordinate booth/stall, branding, and on-ground collateral with the Creative & Design Lead.
  • Handle logistics including registrations, passes, internal coordination, and travel/hotel details for key team members.
  • Drive pre-event buzz and post-event follow-ups with leads in partnership with Sales & Growth.
  • Campaign Execution & Engagement Support
  • Work with the Content & Storytelling Lead to plan and schedule posts around collaborations, events, and community activities (announcements, recaps, shout-outs, clips).
  • Coordinate with the Creative & Design Lead to ensure each partnership or event has strong supporting creatives (banners, social tiles, thumbnails, one-pagers).
  • Support Growth & Performance Lead with inputs from the field: what messages resonate in communities, which creators drive interest, and which events perform best.
  • AI-First Outreach & Research
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, email/DM assistants, research copilots, CRM enrichment tools) to discover and shortlist relevant communities, creators, and events faster.
  • Draft and personalize outreach messages, follow-ups, and collaboration proposals using AI tools.
  • Summarize conversations, capture key insights, and prepare internal briefs with the help of AI.
  • Build repeatable AI-accelerated workflows to handle high outreach volume with quality and consistency.
  • Tracking, Reporting & Feedback Loops
  • Define and track key Community & Engagement KPIs including number and quality of community relationships, collaborations, event participation ROI, mentions, referrals, and signups.
  • Prepare simple monthly reports with highlights, learnings, and recommended next steps.
  • Feed insights back into Sales, Growth, Product, and Content so messaging and targeting get sharper over time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, PR, Media, or a related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in community, partnerships, influencer marketing, or ecosystem/brand marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, AI, or tech/startups.
  • Proven experience building and managing relationships with creators, partners, or event organizers.
  • Demonstrated history of executing collaborations and/or events that drove engagement, signups, or meaningful brand visibility.

Required Skills

  • Excellent spoken and written English; confident on calls, emails, and in-person networking.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and ecosystems: LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and comfort navigating Slack/Discord/Reddit style communities.
  • Comfortable using basic CRM/relationship tracking tools, spreadsheets, and simple project management tools (Notion, Trello, Asana, etc.).
  • Hands-on usage of AI tools for research, outreach, and organization as part of your daily workflow.

  • Naturally relationship-driven: you enjoy reaching out, following up, and building long-term trust.
  • High ownership and bias for action—comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup with evolving needs and limited hand-holding.
  • Organized and detail-oriented: able to juggle multiple threads (communities, creators, events) without dropping the ball.
  • Curious about AI, productivity, and the startup/SaaS ecosystem, and enthusiastic about representing
  • in those spaces.
