Location: On-Site (Andheri West, Mumbai) – 6 days a week
Salary Range: ₹8,00,000 – ₹15,00,000 per annum

You will be responsible for: As Head of HR, you will align people strategy with business goals, institutionalize performance evaluation frameworks, and create a scalable HR foundation. You'll build a high-performance, feedback-driven, and empathetic culture while driving both talent acquisition and employee development.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
1. People Strategy & Culture
- Partner with leadership to design and implement people-first strategies.
- Build a culture of ownership, performance, and continuous feedback.
- Champion employee engagement, well-being, and retention initiatives.
2. Performance Management
- Create transparent evaluation systems with clear KRAs and KPIs.
- Design performance-linked growth paths and incentive structures.
- Implement fair appraisal systems to align personal growth with company objectives.
3. Talent Acquisition & Development
- Lead end-to-end hiring across departments (content, marketing, tech, ops).
- Build structured recruitment processes with standardized JDs, interviews, and offers.
- Set up L&D frameworks to continuously upskill managers, creatives, and strategists.
4. HR Operations & Systems
- Establish HR SOPs covering policies, compliance, payroll, and leave management.
- Deploy HR tools (payroll systems, OKR tracking, onboarding tools) for efficiency.
- Act as the go-to person for conflict resolution and workplace harmony.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Employee engagement & retention rates
- Time-to-hire and quality of hires
- Successful implementation of SOPs & HR systems
- Employee satisfaction (NPS) and performance alignment
Who We're Looking For:
- 6–10 years of HR experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role (preferably in a startup or creative/edtech environment).
- Strong emotional intelligence; able to handle tough conversations with empathy.
- Proven track record of setting up HR systems from scratch.
- Proactive, ownership-driven, and passionate about building culture.
- Familiarity with tools like Keka, Darwinbox, Notion, and OKR platforms is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in fast-growing startups or knowledge of the education/content ecosystem.
