Prodancy is a medical device startup focused on developing innovative and affordable surgical consumables for joint replacement surgeries. The company recently launched the Vizbl Surgical Helmet, which is 40% lighter and 50% less costly than its competitors. Its unique no-chin bar ergonomic design provides exceptional comfort while ensuring AAMI Level 3 protection for orthopedic surgeons, surgical staff, and patients.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Procurement Specialist - Medical Device Components. The role involves sourcing components, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and performing procurement-related tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with suppliers and our engineering team to ensure quality and on-time delivery of components.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement.
- Understanding component procurement requirements.
- Sourcing on site like Digikey, Robu, Mouser, and Alibaba
- Skills in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
