Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our remote team for a 3-month internship. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support decision-making and project success. You will work closely with our team on live projects and learn industry best practices in data handling and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets from various sources.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Create dashboards and visual reports using tools like Excel, Google Data Studio, or Power BI.
  • Assist in generating periodic analytical reports for internal and client projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to support data-driven decisions.
  • Document findings and methodologies for reproducibility.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau).
  • Understanding of SQL and database querying.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience with statistical analysis or hypothesis testing.
  • Knowledge of APIs and data integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data tools (Google BigQuery, AWS, etc.).
