Job Description: Data Analyst – Financial Data Feeds

Location: Mumbai/Remote

Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to manage and maintain high-quality data feeds across financial products — Loans, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Structured Investment Funds (SIF), and Mutual Funds. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in data cleaning and automation, and have a good understanding of financial data structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate and source financial data from regulators, fund houses, PMS/SIF providers, and lending institutions.
  • Clean, normalize, and validate raw data (Excel, CSV, APIs, PDFs) into structured formats.
  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly feeds for:
  • Loans → interest rates, EMI schedules, product structures.
  • PMS → portfolio holdings, performance, AUM.
  • SIF → allocation details, valuations, performance.
  • Mutual Funds → NAVs, AUM, factsheets, holdings.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines for automated ingestion.
  • Perform data quality checks (duplicates, missing values, stale data).
  • Maintain a data dictionary and metadata repository for all feeds.
  • Work with the engineering team to integrate cleaned data into APIs/databases.
  • Monitor data feeds for errors and resolve issues quickly.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and Excel.
  • Experience with ETL tools (Airflow, cron, or similar).
  • Ability to clean and standardize inconsistent datasets.
  • Understanding of financial services data (mutual funds, PMS, SIF, loans).
  • Familiarity with SEBI, RBI, AMFI reporting standards (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive data workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
