Job Title: HR Manager

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at Chopade Group of Companies, a leading brand in the beauty industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, implementing HR initiatives, and providing strategic support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and selection processes for stylists, therapists, and other beauty professionals to attract top talent.

  • Call candidates, conduct end-to-end interviews, and manage the hiring process to ensure the best fit for the company.

  • Design and coordinate comprehensive employee onboarding and induction programs, including salon/spa orientation and ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and training records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Provide expert guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including answering queries, resolving complex issues, and coaching managers on HR best practices.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, including those related to employee conduct, attendance, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Conceptualize and execute employee engagement and recognition programs, including employee of the month/quarter/year awards, to foster a positive work environment.

  • Analyze training needs and develop strategic training programs for employees, including conducting training sessions and workshops on beauty industry-specific topics.

  • Ensure compliance with beauty industry regulations, labor laws, and equal opportunities legislation, staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in the beauty industry, with a proven track record of success.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, including employment, health and safety, and equal opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Proficient in HR software and systems, including payroll and time and attendance systems, with the ability to leverage technology to drive HR initiatives.
