Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Presales with a strong background in Banking and FinTech to lead end-to-end bid management for complex technology solutions. This role demands deep industry knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to develop winning proposals aligned with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to proposal submission.
- Lead and coordinate virtual bid teams, engaging key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Commercial, Legal, and Project Delivery.
- Identify and manage relationships with OEM partners to meet product requirements.
- Conduct detailed research and brainstorming sessions to develop compelling bid content.
- Prepare and review all commercial aspects of bids, ensuring comprehensive inclusion of products and services in pricing.
- Proactively track and manage risks associated with the bid process.
- Contribute to proposal writing, ensuring clarity, coherence, and strong presentation, including executive summaries.
- Conduct regular team briefings to align efforts and share insights.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Drive successful demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and pitch presentations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bid management, proposal development, or pre-sales within the Banking and FinTech sectors.
- In-depth domain expertise in Banking is a must.
- Strong knowledge of transaction banking, cash management, and digital banking solutions is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing complex bids involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to write technical and commercial responses for RFPs and RFQs.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in pricing and contract negotiations.
- Must have at least 7 years of hands-on experience with Java technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire, guide, and manage cross-functional teams.

- Successful end-to-end bid management with high win rates.
- Alignment of solution design with customer business requirements through close collaboration with sales and delivery teams.
- Creation of compelling proposals and accurate cost estimations.
- Effective support to sales teams during contract negotiations.
- Identification and targeting of relevant market segments with tailored value propositions.
- Leadership and motivation of bid and technical teams.
- Delivery of high-impact demos, POCs, and presentations.
- Continuous monitoring and analysis of competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Timely delivery of proposals within deadlines with a commitment to excellence.
