Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and well-networked individual with a background in the Indian Armed Forces to join our Sales & Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships (primarily within defense and government sectors), and supporting bid and proposal development for strategic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate business opportunities with MoD, Armed Forces and other relevant agencies.
  • Leverage prior defense experience and networks to identify and pursue relevant tenders, RFPs, and partnership opportunities.
  • Engage in regular interaction with defense procurement and technical evaluation agencies.
  • Monitor developments in the defense sector and provide strategic insights.
  • Coordinate with internal technical and engineering teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
  • Represent the company at relevant defense exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities including product presentations, demonstrations, and customer briefings.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile:

  • Service Background: Retired officer from the Indian Armed Forces (Air Force / Navy / Army) with the rank of Wing Commander, Commander, or Lt. Colonel or junior if competent for role
  • Age Group: Preferably 35 to 45 years.
  • Domain Knowledge: Exposure to defense procurement procedures, user trials, technical evaluation committees, and operational use cases of defense equipment.
  • Experience: Prior experience in Sales, Business Development, Liaison, or Defense Consulting will be an advantage but not mandatory.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to operate independently and take initiative.
  • Good understanding of the defense ecosystem in India.
  • Candidate should be based in Delhi/NCR or willing to relocate.
