Experience: 6–10 years in Government / B2G Sales
Key Responsibilities
Lead business development for Smart City vertical in government and PSU sectors.
Engage with departments (Municipal Corporations, Development Authorities, Urban Local Bodies, State Nodal Agencies) to specify Utopiatech products in upcoming tenders.
Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation, specification, RFP/tender management, technical-commercial discussions, negotiations, and order closure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, consultants, and channel partners.
Monitor and track government initiatives such as Smart Cities Mission, AMRUT, State Urban Missions, etc., to identify business opportunities.
Collaborate with technical and product teams to design winning proposals and presentations.
Drive sales targets, forecast pipeline, and ensure timely collection of payments.
Mentor Sales Engineers and junior team members.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering or MBA (preferred).
2–4 years of proven experience in Government/PSU/Smart City sales.
Strong understanding of government tendering processes, bid preparation, and product specification.
Established network with decision-makers in government departments, PSUs, and consultants.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel extensively across India.
Self-motivated with strong business acumen and result-driven approach.
