We are a London-based multiple supermarket and Online retailer looking for an Accountant, HR and Admin Executive
Job placement in London, UK. We take care of accommodation and food provided
Minimum 10 years of retail grocery management experience in India.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Process payroll, manage employee reimbursements, and ensure timely payment of taxes, including GST, TDS, and other statutory payments.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with external auditors for audits and provide required documentation.
- Manage inventory records and expense tracking.
Human Resources:
- Manage recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, and payroll data.
- Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, provident fund, and other statutory compliance.
- Handle employee grievances and support conflict resolution.
- Conduct employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Administration:
- Manage office administration, including procurement of office supplies, vendor management, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of company records and contracts.
- Handle travel arrangements and logistics for company staff.
- Organize company events and meetings and coordinate with departments for administrative support.
- Manage office communications, such as correspondence, emails, and telephone inquiries.
- Ensure that health and safety standards are met within the workplace.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of proven experience in accounting, HR, and administrative roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a mid-sized organization managing both finance, HR, and admin duties.
- Familiarity with HR management software and payroll processing.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
