Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Chennai. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing and developing a team of sales representatives, and building relationships with key customers. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role also involves providing training and support to the sales team and conducting performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, sales planning, and performance management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the health insurance industry
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team
- Analytical skills to monitor sales metrics and market trends
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
