We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our one of our client's team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for the client's US-based customers, providing top-notch technical support for their IT infrastructure. Please Note: This is a full-time, remote position based in India. It is mandatory to work during US business hours, which corresponds to a permanent night shift schedule in India.
Work Schedule: US Business Hours (Mandatory)- This position strictly requires working in alignment with US time zones (e.g., Eastern or Pacific Standard Time).
- This is a permanent night shift role for candidates based in India.
- Please apply only if you are willing and able to commit to a long-term night shift schedule.
- Provide first-level technical support to US-based end-users for issues related to PCs, laptops, printers, and software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows Servers, including Active Directory user/group management and permissions.
- Assist with basic firewall and network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Manage and prioritize support tickets using our helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, and networks.
- Administer Office 365 accounts, including email and application support.
- Create and maintain documentation for technical procedures and user guides.
- Minimum 1.5 years of hands-on experience providing IT support specifically for US-based clients and their infrastructure.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are absolutely essential for interacting with American clients.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory (user account creation, password resets, group policy).
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and experience with firewall administration (e.g., SonicWall, Cisco, Palo Alto).
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
