Medal Equipment is a trusted name in high-quality and durable commercial kitchen equipment, serving clients across the hospitality and foodservice industries. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Technical Support Specialist who can bridge the gap between customers and technicians — ensuring product issues are accurately understood, diagnosed, and resolved efficiently.
Role Overview
The Technical Support Specialist will handle warranty claims, customer queries, and technical troubleshooting for our commercial appliances. The ideal candidate should have a technical or engineering background and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and service technicians to deliver smooth and accurate support.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and process warranty claims promptly and accurately.
- Communicate with customers to understand appliance issues and identify root causes.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure correct diagnosis and resolution.
- Review service reports and prevent miscommunication between teams.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance to customers.
- Log all support cases, resolutions, and updates in the CRM system.
- Share feedback with product and quality teams to improve product performance.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in technical support or product servicing, preferably for appliances.
- Strong understanding of appliance operations, repairs, and service procedures.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and technicians.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple support cases.
- Familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Background in refrigeration or commercial kitchen appliances.
- Experience handling technical escalations or service coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
