Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee the construction and infrastructure development activities at Presidency PU College, Mangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, experience in handling educational institution projects, and the ability to coordinate with contractors, architects, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage all civil construction and renovation projects within the campus.
  • Prepare project timelines, budgets, BOQs, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Manage procurement of materials and ensure cost control against approved budgets.
  • Oversee vendor management, contract finalization, and billing verification.
  • Ensure all works comply with statutory norms and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present periodic project progress reports to the management.
  • Ensure timely project completion with high quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
  • 712 years of experience in civil project management.
  • Experience in handling institutional, commercial, or campus development projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
