About the role
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist with strong hands-on experience managing paid campaigns. In this role you will plan, execute and optimise digital advertising campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram to help grow leads, sales and revenue.
Key responsibilities
Campaign management
- Plan, create and manage paid campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram and other relevant platforms.
- Structure campaigns, ad groups/ad sets and ads in line with best practices for performance and scalability.
Optimisation & performance
- Continuously optimise campaigns to improve ROI and ROAS by adjusting bids, budgets, targeting and placements.
- Improve creatives and messaging using performance data and insights.
Research & strategy
- Conduct keyword research, audience analysis and competitor research.
- Identify new channels, formats and tactics to reach relevant, high-intent audiences.
Testing & experimentation
- Run A/B tests on creatives, audiences, bidding strategies and landing pages.
- Document test results and apply learnings to future campaigns.
Tracking & analytics
- Set up and manage tracking using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and Conversion API.
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking and basic attribution across campaigns.
Scaling & reporting
- Develop strategies to scale winning campaigns while maintaining profitability.
- Monitor budgets on a daily/weekly basis and report performance and insights to the team or stakeholders.
Market awareness
- Stay updated on trends, tools and best practices in digital advertising and performance marketing.
- Proactively suggest and implement new ideas to improve results.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience running paid campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram or similar platforms.
- Candidates with higher levels of experience are welcome to apply.
Technical & analytical skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-backed decisions.
- Experience optimising for CPC, CPA, ROAS and conversions.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager and tracking tools (pixels, Conversion API, UTM parameters, etc.).
Sales & conversion focus
- Understanding of marketing funnels, buyer journeys and conversion optimisation.
- Experience working with landing pages, lead forms or e-commerce product pages.
Work style & communication
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns at the same time.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present performance updates clearly.
Preferred (nice to have)
- Experience with one or more of: LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads or programmatic platforms.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools or CRM systems.
- Experience in e-commerce, SaaS or lead-generation businesses.
