Google Ads Specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Google Ads Specialist to help manage, optimize, and report on our paid advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Google Ads and a passion for digital marketing. This role will work closely with our marketing team to execute strategies that drive brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and contribute to our overall business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Assist in the setup, daily monitoring, and optimization of paid search and display campaigns on Google Ads. You will also support campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads, ensuring all campaigns are aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing goals.
- Audience Targeting & Research: Conduct thorough research to identify and understand our target audiences and customer segments. You will be responsible for helping to create and manage ad sets, audience lists, and lookalike audiences to ensure our campaigns reach the most relevant users.
- Creative & Ad Copy Support: Under guidance, you will assist in drafting compelling and engaging ad copy and creatives. This includes testing various ad formats and messaging to continuously improve campaign engagement and conversion rates.
- Budget Management: Monitor daily and monthly campaign budgets to ensure optimal ad spend and avoid overspending. You will assist in tracking and reporting on budget allocation and performance.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Regularly analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. You will help prepare reports on key metrics and present findings to the marketing team.
- Competitor Analysis: Keep a close watch on competitor campaigns to identify trends, new opportunities, and potential gaps in our own strategies.
- Collaboration & Learning: Work in close collaboration with the broader marketing team to fully understand campaign goals and objectives. We are looking for a proactive learner who stays updated with the latest trends, best practices, and updates in the ever-evolving world of paid media.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- A basic understanding of the Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms.
- A strong analytical mindset with a comfort in working with numbers and data.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately track and report on key metrics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine willingness to learn, receive constructive feedback, and experiment with new ideas.
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and data analysis.
- A degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Google Ads certification is highly desirable.
