We are looking for a skilled Commis to join our team in the hospitality industry, specifically in Continental Cuisine. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
- Conduct inventory management of food supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen setting, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
