IT Sales Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software and application solutions, possess excellent listening and communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand client business models and propose technology-based solutions. Experience in business analysis or working alongside BA teams is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and inbound leads.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis and client consultations to understand business processes and software needs.
- Present and demonstrate software/application solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and technical teams to design and propose customized solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitors.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reports to management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT or software sales (preferred: SaaS, custom software, enterprise solutions).
- Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to understand and articulate client needs.
- Good knowledge of software applications, platforms, and digital business models.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of business analysis principles and client workflows.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
MUST Have:
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Technical writing or documentation skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or API integrations.
