Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
- Ensure consistent growth in sales volume and market share.
- Market and Territory Management:
- Manage an assigned sales territory, covering a range of retail outlets, distributors, and supermarkets.
- Identify potential new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
- Conduct regular visits to ensure proper product placement, stock availability, and display compliance.
- Order Processing & Inventory Management:
- Process customer orders and coordinate with distributors or warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels at client outlets and recommend stock replenishment.
- Product Promotion and Merchandising:
- Implement promotional strategies (e.g., discounts, offers) as planned by the company's marketing team.
- Ensure products are displayed attractively and follow brand guidelines at various retail locations.
- Set up point-of-sale (POS) materials and promotional displays.
- Market Intelligence:
- Gather and report on competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences, market trends, and sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
- Resolve client complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer information, and inventory.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Area Sales Manager or higher management.
- Training and Development:
- Educate retailers and staff about new product features, usage, and benefits.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on company products and sales techniques.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 1-3 years in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with retailers and distributors to achieve the best sales outcomes.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on understanding customer needs and providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
