We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Area Sales Officer to join our sales team and contribute to our growth in Kandhamal and their border districts.
As a Sales Officer at Ruchak India Snacks, you will play a critical role in achieving and surpassing sales targets within your designated area.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders, driving product visibility, and ensuring the availability of Ruchak snacks in the market.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Expand the distribution network by appointing new retailers and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing retailers and distributors.
- Generate orders from retailers and distributors, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Ensure proper merchandising and visibility of products at retail outlets.
- Gather market information on competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales figures, market feedback, and competitor analysis.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure adequate stock levels at distributor points.
- Provide excellent customer service to retailers and distributors.
**Skills**:
- Strong understanding of the FMCG distribution landscape, particularly in the snacks and namkeen category.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Good understanding of the local market dynamics and competitor activities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:
- Sales target achievement
- Number of new distributors/retailers appointed.
- Order frequency and value.
