Position Overview

The Junior Technician will be responsible for assisting in the repair, servicing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment under the supervision of senior technicians. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to gain practical industry exposure and develop technical skills in the automobile/mechanical field.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians in performing routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.

  • Support in conducting inspections and reporting faults or abnormalities in machines or vehicles.

  • Operate tools, machines, and diagnostic equipment under guidance.

  • Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures and safety practices.

  • Perform basic tasks such as cleaning parts, assembling components, and preparing materials for repair work.

  • Document work completed and assist in maintaining service records.

  • Ensure cleanliness and discipline in the workshop area.

  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Diploma or ITI in Mechanical (fresher candidates are encouraged to apply).

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, components, and tools.

  • Willingness to learn and work under the supervision of senior technicians.

Skills Required

  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical servicing and repair.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Physical stamina and willingness to work in workshop environments.
