Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Regional Channel Sales Manager to drive business growth across North India by leveraging strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, resellers, and system integrators in the cyber security domain. The candidate will be responsible for developing channel sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and promoting our portfolio of cyber security products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand channel sales across North India, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key distributors, VARs, resellers, and system integrators.
- Identify, onboard, and enable new channel partners to grow market reach.
- Drive partner enablement through training, certifications, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Execute regional sales strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Work closely with OEMs, vendors, and alliance partners to expand product offerings and sales opportunities.
- Develop sales forecasts, pipeline management, and market analysis reports.
- Represent the company at channel events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
- Ensure partner compliance with sales policies, agreements, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with marketing and technical teams for partner-driven campaigns and product positioning.
Candidate Eligibility Criteria
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7–12 years of channel sales experience in the IT & cyber security domain.
- Strong understanding of cyber security products, services, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, IAM, cloud security, threat intelligence).
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets through channel partners.
- Well-established network of regional distributors, partners, and resellers in North India.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent knowledge of the cyber security ecosystem, OEMs, and market trends.
- Strong partner relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to drive channel enablement, training, and joint business planning.
- Strategic thinking with a solution-selling approach.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively across the region.
