Senior Coordinator – Indian Ocean Community Initiative

Location: Gurugram, Sector 37

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: ₹22,000 – ₹28,000 per month

Experience: 2–4 years

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Coordinator to lead operations and communication for the Indian Ocean community project. The role involves managing a small team, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of on-ground and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily operations for the Indian Ocean community program.
  • Coordinate between internal departments, field partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and oversee outreach campaigns, workshops, and awareness drives.
  • Manage documentation, reporting, and performance tracking of all activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior coordinators and interns.
  • Work closely with the marketing and design teams to align communication strategy.
  • Represent the organization in community meetings, partner calls, and events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, Environmental Studies, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in coordination, project management, or community engagement.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Good command of English and Hindi (knowledge of coastal languages is a plus).
  • Comfortable working on sustainability, marine, or social development projects.
