Role overview:
The ASM will be responsible for
appointing distributors across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, building a strong sales executive team, driving secondary sales, and achieving monthly sales targets
. This role demands a result-oriented leader with strong execution skills, market understanding, and the ability to motivate and monitor a sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Appointment & Management
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
- Ensure distributor infrastructure, ROI, and compliance as per Skippi's business model.
- Regular stock and sales audits at distributor points.
Team Management & Sales Execution
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of Sales Executives (SEs).
- Monitor daily market activities, route plans, and productivity of SEs.
- Motivate the team to deliver against secondary sales targets.
Sales Achievement & Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly
secondary sales targets
for the assigned states. - Drive availability, visibility, and penetration of Skippi products across General Trade and Modern Trade outlets.
- Ensure proper execution of schemes, trade promotions, and merchandising activities.
Market Development
- Expand outlet coverage and improve numeric & weighted distribution.
- Identify gaps and new market opportunities for expansion.
- Build strong retailer and distributor relationships.
Reporting & Review
- Maintain accurate MIS reports on distributor performance, team performance, sales trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Head on targets, challenges, and growth strategies.
Key Requirements
- 5–8 years of FMCG Sales experience
. - Proven track record of
appointing and managing distributors
in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. - Strong leadership skills to
manage a large field sales team
. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to travel extensively across both states.
