Role Overview:

We are seeking a
Head Buyer & Merchandiser
to lead our to own the full product lifecycle—from trend spotting to final product going live

The ideal candidate blends strong fashion sensibility with analytical and commercial acumen, and has a sharp eye for both Indian and global trends.. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of fashion retail, category management, and customer-centric planning strategies to optimize product visibility, stock movement, and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Trend & Product Strategy

  • Define the seasonal and long-term product roadmap in line with brand vision and market trends.
  • Track and translate emerging
    global and Indian fashion trends
    into winning product lines.

Design & Buying Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the
    design and buying teams
    to create trend-relevant, high-margin collections.
  • Oversee
    concept development, sampling, approvals
    , and product launches across jewellery and accessories.
  • Build and manage
    vendor relationships
    , negotiate MOQs, costs, and delivery timelines.

Merchandising & Analytics

  • Own
    range planning, assortment optimisation, and lifecycle management
    for 3000+ SKUs.
  • Use data to drive
    reorders, replenishments, and product retirement
    to maximise sell-through and profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams on
    pricing and margin strategy
    .

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with operations, supply chain, and marketplace teams to ensure
    on-time launches and inventory health
    .
  • Provide insights to growth and creative teams for campaigns and drops.

Requirements:

  • 6–12 years of experience in
    fashion buying, merchandising, or product leadership
    in
    accessories, lifestyle, or apparel
    .
  • Proven ability to
    spot trends and build commercially successful collections
    .
  • Strong
    analytical and inventory-planning skills
    for reorders and demand forecasting.
  • Excellent
    vendor negotiation and sourcing network
    (domestic and international).
  • Demonstrated success in
    leading design and buying teams
    .
  • Comfort working in a
    fast-paced, high-SKU e-commerce environment
    .
  • Bonus: Familiarity with
    technology or AI-driven product planning tools
    .
  • Preferred Fashion / Apparel / Retail Industry background
  • NIFT or similar fashion/merchandising educational background is a plus.
  • This is a work-from-office role - You should be willing to travel to Okhla, Delhi
