Job Opening: NPD Quality Engineer – HPDC & GDC Components

Experience: Minimum 7 years

Location: Sulur, Coimbatore

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced NPD Quality Engineer with strong expertise in High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) and Gravity Die Casting (GDC). The candidate will be responsible for leading quality activities for new product development, ensuring that all components meet customer, design, and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality planning for new product development projects.

  • Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements for HPDC and GDC parts.

  • Develop and implement APQP, PPAP documentation, process flow, control plans, and FMEA.

  • Coordinate with design, production, tooling, and suppliers to ensure quality readiness.

  • Manage dimensional inspection, capability studies, and validation testing.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for NPD issues.

  • Support continuous improvement in casting and machining processes.

Requirements:

  • BE/ME in Mechanical or relevant engineering field.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in NPD Quality, specifically for aluminium die casting components.

  • Hands-on experience in HPDC and GDC process quality control.

  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, GD&T, CMM, and measurement systems.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360, ₹480,000.00 per year
