CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
• Determine machining methods, tool paths, and setups to achieve desired tolerances and surface finishes.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Verify and prove out programs on machines; make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with machinists, engineers, and quality control to resolve programming or process issues.
• Maintain organized records of programs, setups, and tooling data.
• Continuously improve machining processes to reduce cycle time and tool wear.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards in the machine shop.
